How to Use
To activate, insert the key and turn clockwise, then remove the shackle. Place the shackle back with the groove aligned to the lock side. After a beep, turn the key back and remove it. The alarm is armed after 15 seconds. If the padlock senses motion twice within 5 seconds, the alarm triggers. The 5-second delay allows you to unlock with the key without activating the alarm. The siren sounds in 10-second intervals as long as tampering continues. After stopping, the alarm resets to standby in 35 seconds.
Note: For regular padlock use, insert the shackle with the groove opposite the lock side. Use as a standard padlock when securing moving vehicles or objects. Only arm the alarm once stationary.
Battery Replacement
To replace the batteries, unscrew the two screws under the shackle and remove the cover. Replace with 6x A76/LR44 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Replace the cover securely. Under normal use, batteries last about 2 years.
